The theme for this year’s Day for Life is “The Wonder of the Child in the Womb”, seeking to emphasise the wonder of human life from the womb to its natural end (Magnifica Humanitas, as Pope Leo has so powerfully pronounced in recent days). The Message for the Day for Life will also acknowledge the grief of parents who have lost children before birth or in infancy. A special collection is taken up that day to support Care for Life groups and initiatives at national and diocesan level.
