This Lent SCIAF are trying to raise awareness of the issues around accessing clean and safe water in Ethiopia. We will be joining parishioners of St Vincent de Paul on Saturday 21st March.
There is no 10am Mass on this day because of the Legion of Mary Mass but those wanting to participate in our Big Lent Walk for Water are invited to gather here at 10am.
If you would like to join us, a sign-up station will be in the church porch after Masses on the 15th of March. Entry fee is £5 per adult. At this time, you will receive your sponsor form and an information sheet about the walk itself.
If you are unable to join us on our walk, you can still support us by sponsoring a family member or friend who is participating or donating on our Just Giving page, which can be accessed on the parish Facebook page. Funds raised will support SCIAF in continuing their efforts to dig wells and repair existing water pumps to ensure the flow of clean and safe water to communities in Ethiopia,
