 Volunteers Required

We are looking for volunteers to participate in the offertory procession at each mass. If you are interested, please put your name on the  list in the porch at the back of the church. If you already assist and wish to continue, please also add your name or let one of the pass keepers know you wish to continue.

Stirling 2015 – Scottish Catholic Youth Festival

30th July – 2nd August 2015

At the invitation of St. John Paul II, Pope Benedict XVI & Pope Francis young Catholics have gathered around the world to celebrate their faith at World Youth Day. Inspired by these gatherings we invite you to experience the fun, prayer and joy of a World Youth Day at Stirling. Join young people from Scotland and beyond in the University of Stirling Campus.

Sacrament of Reconciliation

St. Brides – Monday 30th March 6.30-9.00 pm

Our Lady of Lourdes – Tuesday 31st March 6.30-9.00pm.

Both evenings at 6.15pm there will be Evening Prayer and from 6.30pm three priests will be available to hear confessions until the Chruch closes at 9.00pm. You can visit the Church at any point.

Lourdes Petitions

Fr. Parkes is off to Lourdes on Easter Sunday with HCPT. If you would like a petition placed at the grotto please pass it to him before Easter Sunday.

 

Gift Aid

If you have been part of the Gift Aid Scheme using either envelopes or standing order and  stopped paying tax over the last few years, can you please let Fr. Parkes know. It will allow us to keep our records up to date. Many thanks.

A Gift Aid form is available on the noticeboard in the porch. If you pay tax you could increase your donation by 25p for each pound you donate at no extra cost to yourself, if you contribute using envelopes or by standing order and have signed a Gift Aid form.

The Wednesday Tea Room

Will be closed on 1st April and will re-open on 8th April.

 Holy Thursday– Night Prayer

Following the Mass of the Lord’s Supper you are invited to spend time in prayer at the Altar of Repose (in the Oratory) until night prayer at 11.00pm.

Community Food Bank
