Canon John Udris is Spiritual Director at St Mary’s College, Oscott, Birmingham.  He has a Licence in Spirituality from the Dominican University in Rome.  He is a priest of Northampton Diocese where his first parish was Our Lady’s, Corby, where many of his parishioners were historically from Lanarkshire.   At the end of his time there, he says he could watch an episode of Rab C Nesbitt and not need the subtitles!   He is the author of books and articles on Spirituality and leads retreats and days of recollection.   He has a particular interest in St Therese of Lisieux.  He has recently completed a report for his Bishop on the potential for the opening of the Cause of G K Chesterton.   Pope Francis has appointed him as a Missionary of Mercy.  In these Lent talks, he will explore the rich scriptural theme of the Third Day, illustrating and exploring it through the life and spirituality of St Therese.
